(ARC) is a well established and reputable provider of retirement village accommodation
and services.
In 1997 ARC constructed its first aged care facility, a 50
bed low-care hostel, Overton Lea in Sydenham.
ARC has initiated a new
Aged Care Division known as ARCare which provides residential aged care services
in hostels (low-care) and nursing homes (high-care).
ARCare now has 7
facilities around Melbourne with a total of 488 beds of which 180 are Extra Service.
A further 380 beds will be made available over the next 2 years, in addition
to potential acquisitions.
